The Harmony of Shadows

This series was inspired by a desire to harmonize darkness with light, exploring how the two can coexist in delicate balance. Each portrait reveals a different contrast — youth and maturity, discipline and instinct, serenity and mortality — showing that with just the right measure of each, a deeper truth emerges. The work will continue to evolve, with new images introduced over time to explore fresh variations of this theme, offering new perspectives on equilibrium.

Moenier — The goal was to portray the effect of intoxication through smoke, evoking a sense of calm resignation, almost at peace with death resting between his fingers. Lighting and composition were used to soften the atmosphere and highlight this delicate balance.

Nasief Theunissen

River Marinus

River was tasked with embodying both youth and maturity at once, carrying the weight of responsibility on her shoulders while maintaining a composed and graceful presence
